Maybe we're jumping to conclusions too quickly but it seems that Drake has very low chances of showing anything new at this point.
Who knows, maybe Oda has a last minute redemption planned for him power level wise, but until then...

It takes some ultra high quality weed to put Robin, Brook, and Chopper one or even two tiers over people who could actually wound Kaido.

One of the stronger Flying Six (I have him as strongest but honestly feats aren't there). Yeah, he's not hanging with the Yonko Commanders but he's still capable of giving a fight to guys like Appo and Bowler Hat dude even if he's been underwhelming. It's a shame, I expected him to show off this arc but he hasn't accomplished much.

Prior to the conga line of Ls he took I also thought Drake ought to be the strongest Flying Six and probably secretly Jack level or higher. I had high expectations for all of the Supernova, honestly. The rooftop 5 did amazing but the stock of anyone left below plummeted through the floor. I was really expecting Drake, Hawkins and Apoo to be quite major players but I suppose in an arc this crowded there just wasn't enough room. I suppose Apoo has gotten the best treatment of that grouping but even then it hasn't been amazing, more just ducking out of stuff and knowing his limits better.
I'm not sure how I feel about the idea that the middle trio can take on Supernova by themselves but I guess it was always inevitable something like this would happen. Not all 11 of them can be titanic powerhouses, some of them were always just going to end up as middle fish. I suppose that's the point of the post-skip super rookies like Caribou and Bartolomeo. Those guys aren't ever gonna be truly relevant in the grand picture of things, merely semi-noteworthy new world veterans of the sort that came to Marineford with Whitebeard.
