Began the 2021 season in Triple-A Albuquerque, where he played in 33 games before he was released on July 21...he signed with the Independent League Lexington Legends and played in 38 games, where he posted a 1.077 OPS and guided them to the Atlantic League championship.

2020

Appeared in two games with the Angels, Sept. 4 and Sept. 5 vs. Houston, going 1-for-5 with one walk and one strikeout... Signed by the Angels to a Minor League contract on Jan. 31... Had his contract purchased on Aug. 31 and made his season debut on Sept. 4, going 0-for-3 with a walk in a start at catcher vs. Houston … also started vs. Houston the next day and recorded his lone hit of the season, a single off Astros starter José Urquidy…Optioned to the alternate training site on Sept. 6 and outrighted to the Minors on Oct. 30 … signed by Colorado on Nov. 13.

2019

Spent 2019 with Triple-A Salt Lake, playing in just 22 games due to a strained shoulder...Slashed .215/.262/.405 with four HR and 17 RBI...Caught two of eight attempted base-stealers and committed one error (.995 fielding percentage).

2018

After beginning the year with Triple-A Salt Lake, had contract selected by the Angels May 20th...Made Major League debut May 26 at Yankee Stadium, singled in second at-bat and homered in fourth AB (2/4, HR, 2 RBI)... Became seventh player in Angels' history to homer in his Major League debut...Hit second career home run May 31st in second career start, becoming the first Angel to homer in their first two Major League starts... Collected pinch-hit home runs Sept. 23rd and 24th...Joined Jack Howell (May 15 & 17, 1996) as the only players in franchise history with pinch-hit home runs in consecutive games...
