Job DetailsDirector of Nursing to oversee 14-16 group homes with adults and geriatrics that have developmental disabilities.
What you will be doing
- The Director of Nursing ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare to supported individuals.
- Working both in office, and also going out to the group homes 2-3x per week
- Under the Sr. Vice President of Nursing's supervision, the Director oversees nursing practices and procedures.
- Ensures nursing services meet regulatory requirements and agency policies.
- Directly provides nursing services as needed to meet individual needs.
- Supervises Nursing Managers and Registered Nurses in assigned programs.
- Provides support and coverage to residences/programs as necessary.
Skills you need
- OPWDD experience required
- Leadership experience as a nurse required
- RN license in NY, or eligibility to obtain, required
