This year's Drake women have played some of the best basketball in program history. The Bulldogs won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles, and enter the NCAA Tournament with a 29-5 record overall. No. 12 seed Drake will play No. 5 seed Colorado on Friday in Manhattan, Kansas. West Des Moines native Katie Dinnebier was named MVC player of the year after leading the Bulldogs in points per game (17.9), assists (6.9) and steals (2.4). Two other players average double-digit scoring — forwards Grace Berg (17) and Anna Miller (13.6).Miller leads in rebounds (10.1) and blocks (2.6).
